The Absolut Ally Initiative will support a range of capacity-building programs and projects designed to support their growth and success, including leadership and organizational development, community outreach, and improving safety and security. These grants are dedicated to supporting 501(c)(3) nonprofits or organizations operating under fiscal sponsors with current membership status in CenterLink, with the exception of lobbying activities.

As a proud partner of CenterLink and the CenterLink Leadership Institute, Absolut understands the unique needs and challenges faced by LGBTQ+ community organizations. The Absolut Ally Initiative aims to strengthen LGBTQ+ community organizations as safe spaces, fostering inclusivity, empowerment, and support for the 21+ LGBTQ+ community.

Here are some inspiring examples of what grant funding is for:

Leadership & Staff Development

  • Empower LGBTQ+ NonprofitStaff: Invest in the professional growth and well-being of your staff by utilizing grant funds for professional development opportunities, workshops, and training sessions. • Foster LGBTQ+ Professional Networks: Create networking events and opportunities for LGBTQ+ professionals from various industries. Facilitate mentorship, career development, and connections within a supportive LGBTQ+ community. Empower professionals to build valuable relationships, exchange knowledge, and access career opportunities.

Community Outreach & Engagement

  • Celebrate LGBTQ+ History and Culture: Organize educational workshops, exhibits, and events that celebrate LGBTQ+ history, culture, and milestones. These initiatives create safe spaces for education, awareness, and affirmation, promoting a sense of belonging for individuals at your community organization.

Provide platforms for artistic expression, storytelling, and cultural enrichment within your community organization. Encourage diverse perspectives, creativity, and LGBTQ+ representation.

Safety and Security

Install security cameras, alarm systems, and improved lighting to deter vandalism and provide a greater sense of security.
