Things at GLO: Library- We have a collection of diverse books available to be checked out by members of the community at no charge. We have a separate section of books that are youth and YA with fidget toys and puzzles, also available to be checked out. Groups- We have 8 groups that meet at the center with some having multiple meetings a week. Our most recent group addition is our Banned Book Club which meets monthly. Binders & Bras Closet- You can come in and get free gender-affirming underclothes with the opportunity to get help with sizing. Condoms- Thanks to the local organization Aids Project of the Ozarks, we have a constant supply of free condoms available to anyone who comes in. Changing station- One of our two gender-neutral bathrooms is equipped with a changing station for public use. Needle Disposal Site- Our gender-neutral bathroom without a changing station has a securely locked needle disposal box for public use. Plants- We recognize that plants create a more homey, friendly, and clean atmosphere to be in. We have over 70 plants within our center, planters in front of our building, and a food garden space in the lot next to our building. Board Games- With our thriving Friday game night we host a collection of over 50 board games, card games, and puzzles at our center. While mostly used for game night, they can be used at any time within the center. Including other groups and during office hours. Entrances and Parking- Our founders wanted us to have a space that was both accessible from the front and back with ample well-lit parking. That was one of the main reasons our building was purchased in 1996. We have street parking in front of our building, and a lot to the side of our building with street and alley access. Our parking lot and street parking directly in front of our building have both lights and cameras.
