Positive Images
Positive Images is a grassroots nonprofit organization that provides support, advocacy, and education to Sonoma County’s LGBTQIA+ community. The Positive Images Community Center provides mental health support groups for both youth and adults, art curriculum, and a youth leadership development program enabling the growth of our young people and empowering them to become the next generation of community leaders. Our Community Center offers drop in services for people looking for resources and referrals or those simply needing a safe space to be their authentic selves. We travel across Sonoma County providing LGBTQIA+ Cultural Competency Trainings to local schools, organizations, churches, hospitals, and government agencies. We nurture positive self image by creating an affirming environment which invites everyone to explore themselves and their identities, develop leadership skills, and participate in building a just, equitable, and compassionate society.
