TransOhio serves the Ohio transgender and ally communities by providing services, education, support, and advocacy, which promotes and improves the health, safety and life experience of Ohio transgender individuals and community. In the nearly 20 years of TransOhio’s existence, we have grown from a small newsletter to a highly impactful statewide organization, providing numerous critical programs and services. Today TransOhio is the only statewide trans-led organization dedicated to serving the transgender community, currently completely run by transgender individuals (the majority of whom are volunteers), we serve our community from both lived experience and highly skilled expertise. Some of our core programs include but are not limited to: TransOhio Trans & Ally Symposium, Emergency fund and Resources Ohio Name Change Legal Clinic & Microgrants, Education and Training, Discord Server, TransOhio Zines, Support Groups, Trans Care Connect Warm Line: 866-708-6446, Trans-Inclusive Providers List, and Advocacy.
