The Q Center at ACR Health- CNY

The Q Center at ACR Health provides services, activities, and supports for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer/Questioning (LGBTQ+) youth and parents/caregivers and families of LGBTQ+ children. We offer weekly and semi-monthly support groups for LGBTQ+ youth and parents of Gender Expansive youth, substance-free social activities; referrals for STI testing including HIV, and Hepatitis C; referrals to mental health counseling; LGBTQ+-centered case management; school-based Gender & Sexuality Alliance support; LGBTQ+ Cultural Competency workshops for providers; and leadership and advocacy training for LGBTQ+ young people. The goal of the program is improved health and social-emotional outcomes for LGBTQ+ youth and their families. The Q Center has three location in New York: Syracuse, Watertown and Utica, and covers 9 counties in Central NY, Northern NY, and the Mohawk Valley.

Hours subject to change based on weather. Sites follow local school districts for program cancellation. There is never any weekly groups on the 5th Monday or Wednesday.
